About Ross Valley Pharmacy Ross Valley Pharmacy and Wellness Center is a locally owned, comprehensive pharmacy located in Larkspur, California. The pharmacy provides a wide array of patient directed care including compounding, patient consultations, hormone evaluations, Men’s a This community practice residency is a one-year, postgraduate, training program. It is designed for individuals who seek opportunities to gain experiences in chronic disease management and disease preventions in a community pharmacy practice setting. Our training program will provide the residents with opportunities to learn and acquire the necessary tools to effectively manage a community pharmacy. In addition, the resident will have the opportunity to work with well-qualified ambulatory care pharmacy faculty who will further develop the residents’ clinical, teaching and research skills. The primary training site for the residency is Ross Valley Pharmacy located in Larkspur CA. Other training sites will include Touro University Medical Center, and other facilities in the bay area. |
Curriculum Will be tailored to meet the resident’s needs and career goals. The resident will be given opportunities to develop skills in the following areas: Medication Therapy Management (MTM) - Diabetes, Men’s & Women’s Health Management- Design, Implement or Augment Clinical Services - Public Health & Wellness Promotion - Immunization & Disease Prevention Programs- Promote Community & Clinical-Pharmacy Services - Administrative & Management Experiences - Additional longitudinal experiences: Teaching, Research and Scholarship.

Qualifications The applicant must have a Doctoral in Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE (American Council of Pharmaceutical Education) accredited pharmacy school, a U.S. citizenship or Green Card, and a pharmacist license to practice in California.
